Swede Guitar Bolt-On Construction
For the construction of the Swede ESN guitar Hagstrom uses the classic bolt-on construction with 24.75" scale length (628 mm). The mahogany body features an elegant arched top, while the bolt-on neck is made of maple and the fingerboard is baked jatoba. The obligatory H-Expander tension rod also allows the extremely slim "Ultraslim D" profile, which gives the electric guitar agile playing characteristics in all positions.
On the guitar amp, two Hagstrom Custom 62 humbuckers deliver modern all-round tones for almost any genre.
Custom 62 Humbucker
The electrical sound conversion of the Hagstrom Ultra Swede ESN is done by two Hagstrom Custom 62 humbuckers. The modern tuned pickup convince with a tight sound, which is the perfect basis for appealing clean and overdrive sounds with controlled basses and wide mids. For the selection of the pickup is the usual 3-way circuit available, whose volume control is equipped with a treble bleed circuit to compensate for unwanted treble loss when turning down the volume.
Hagstrom die-cast tuners with elegant vanes and 18:1 ratios provide accurate and stable tuning.
Hagstrom Hardware
Last but not least, the Ultra Swede ESN Wild Cherry Transparent features Hagstrom's signature hardware. The Sustain Block Tailpiece provides optimal support for the strings with six individual brass blocks and also supports the Sustain of the electric guitar, while the Long Travel Tune-O-Matic bridge ensures optimal adjustment of intonation and string action, even when using deeper tunings and thicker string sets. With the 18:1 ratio, the Hagstrom Die-Cast tuners guarantee robust and accurate tuning of the electric guitar.
