The Envelope at a glance

Verbos' Polyphonic Envelope is an A/H/D envelope for four-voice polyphonic patches. As with a polyphonic synthesizer, the elementary controls exist only once in total for the four voices.

An envelope is composed of the three phases attack, hold and decay. In addition, each of these parameters has its own skew control, which significantly influences the behavior of a stage. The four envelopes are adjusted together. The behavior of each envelope naturally varies with the duration of the applied gate signals. In addition to gate-in and CV-out, each envelope is equipped with an end-of-cycle output. This generates a trigger as soon as the voltage of the decay phase drops to zero. With this trigger you can let the four generators trigger each other or integrate other modules and function groups. There is a separate control voltage input for each of the three phases and their skew parameters. The Polyphonic Envelope unleashes its full potential at the latest with the modulation respectively automation of these parameters.

Another highlight of the Polyphonic Envelope is the switchable cascade logic which allows to trigger the four envelopes one after the other; whereby the following envelopes start at Hold, Decay or End of the previous envelope. The CV output ALL generates complex multi-stage voltage waveforms consisting of up to twelve time elements when using the cascade logic.
