The A-179-2 Light CV Source II from Doepfer is a more performance-oriented control voltage source with light sensor. The module has a built-in light sensor which is adjustable to its environment by means of an offset control, basically it reacts to light/dark and everything in between. The resulting control voltage is output at separate positive and negative voltage jacks. In addition, the module determines a gate that is only generated at the set threshold. In the delivery scope there is an additional light sensor with a two meter long cable, so depending on the situation and direct environment of the A-179-2 (modules with bright LEDs) better results can be achieved or light sources from the closer environment can be included in the performance.
