The 1U SVF from Intellijel is an analog multimode state variable filter in a compact 1U format. The sound character is adequately described as clean, punchy and soft-focus. If required, the audio input can be amplified and 6 dB or the filter can be passed with asymmetrical distortion. Both are an enormous sonic upgrade and qualify this filter also for patches of a slightly rougher nature. Three outputs are available in parallel, which lends itself to stereo patches despite the mono signal path. Lowpass and highpass have their own outputs, bandpass and notch can be tapped alternatively on the third socket. For modulation of the cutoff parameter there is a 1V/oct tracking input and a bipolar FM input with attenuator.
