Cárn from Instruo is a four-channel signal processing tool with high functional density. The high quality manufactured module is primarily designed for processing audio signals, but does equally well when processing control voltages. Each channel has a volume fader and a voltage controlled panner. The stereo output is equipped with its own VCA, so the module's mixing capabilities alone make it suitable for various applications. In addition, a four-quadrant ring modulator and a crossfader are implemented in Cárn. With the included low-profile stereo cable, Cárn can be connected to other Instruo stereo modules on the rear side to realize coherent signal chains. Càrn also includes a stereo limiter, which is great for smooth signal attenuation up to rich drum bus distortion.
