Rossum Electro-Music 's Triton is an analog triple oscillator with the beautiful nickname Multi-Synchronic Oscillator Ensemble. As it is usual in a real ensemble, you play together or everyone does their own thing a bit. By using the 1V/oct inputs as well as the tracking and sync functions of the lower two you decide if and how you want to harmonize. These can be classic triad chords, but also wild modulation, FM sounds, bell-like or interweaving wave mixes.
The main oscillator has three parallel waveform outputs for triangle, sawtooth and rectangle. The other two can be switched at the output. All three have in common the variable waveforms that can be controlled via controller and CV. The two modulation oscillators additionally complement the spectrum with zing (similar to ring modulation) and phase modulation. A really exciting trio for most applications from chords to experimental to separate voices.
