Tiptop Audio Z8000 Matrix Sequencer Black is a sequencer module for modular synthesizers in Eurorack format. The accessibly designed sequencer houses a clock divider, Clock sequencer, switches, trigger sequencer and Logic gates that create a unique system.

Structure of the Tiptop Audio Z8000

The Z8000 Matrix Sequencer is a compact modulation source. The knob are controlled by ten sequencers, each of which has its own clock, direction and reset inputs. Altogether the sequencers are structured as follows:

• four 4-stage CV sequencers along the horizontal line
• four 4-stage CV sequencers along the vertical axis
• one 16-level CV sequencer along the horizontal line
• one 16-step CV sequencer on the vertical axis

The Tiptop Audio Z8000 allows multiple parameters to be polyrhythmically modulated simultaneously, creating unprecedented movement. One knob affects all ten CV outputs, and all clock inputs can be driven at audio rate.
