A few studios are not only famous for the recordings that have taken place in them, but also for the fact that they have given new impetus to the course of music history. Something like magic can actually happen within four studio walls. Under the guidance of legendary Swampers guitarist Jimmy Johnson, with the original recording equipment and microphone placements used back then, the Southern Soul EZX brings the unmistakable sound of soul back to life. Dense, well-defined and warmly distorted drums - in the characteristic spatial ambience of the Fame studios. This EZX contains a total of 5 complete drum sets and two different recording setups. One of them uses mono miking only, the other is recorded in standard Stereo . In addition, the vocal, guitar, piano and upright Bass microphones record the crosstalk of the drum set at their original positions in the recording room, a special and unique recording technique of Fame Studios and to simulate the feeling of the lively sound of a band.
