IK Multimedia's fifth version of Amplitube once again offers many improvements & new features to help you create the perfect guitar sound for your productions/recordings/sessions. With 176 iconic gear models, you get access to an incredibly flexible sound palette for your guitar. Use ready-made and impressive-sounding presets, built-in multitrack recorders, an integrated SpeedTrainer for practising and learning while playing guitar/bass - in short: this all-round package delivers high-quality amp/cabinet/microphone simulations that you will enjoy for years to come.

But what exactly does the IK Multimedia Amplitube 5 (License Code) version deliver?

New cabinet section with VIR technology

Amplitube 5 has been completely redesigned and delivers a completely new type of DSP. IK's new Volumetric Impulse Response (VIR) utilises 600 Impulse Responses per speaker, 1200 IRs for a 2-speaker cab and 2400 IRs for a 4-speaker cab to create a true 3D array of placement options for the virtual microphones. Naturally, the user still has access to all parameters and interaction possibilities between speaker, cabinet and floor. Thanks to the intuitive Unser interface, shaping your favourite sound is now even more fun.

Best of all, over 100 cabinets have been recalibrated for AmplTube 5 Max to get 143,000 IRs! A customised, fully automated and robot-controlled measurement system has even been developed, so you will definitely benefit from an extremely realistic and accurate sound. Even importing your own IRs and modifying them is possible with IK Multimedia Amplitube 5!

New GUI

Completely new interface, scalable and compatible with all current Retina displays. Not only does it sound good, it also looks great! Whether you're a beginner or a professional, you'll quickly achieve a professional result.

Freely configurable signal chain

Have you ever dreamed of creating your very own signal chain with extremely high-quality effects without being limited? AmpliTube 5 makes it possible with the completely new and customizable Gear Chain! Try out different parallel routing, various wet-dry-wet configurations and other crazy gimmicks with the internal effects and be surprised!

New mixer

With these extreme possibilities to create your own signal chain, you will of course need a corresponding mixer. AmpliTube 5's Studio section allows you to crossfade the sound of your cabinets and microphones including DI signal. 19 built-in effects, panning, levels, busses and features of T-RackS 5 are added on top!
