The Gretsch Renown Maple 2016 RN2-E604 Gloss Natural is a four-piece drum set with Remo heads and maple shells. Seven-ply maple shells with finely crafted 30° bearing edges combine with the newly installed Gretsch 302' hoops, which are also used on Brooklyn and Broadkaster, to deliver a warm and voluminous sound. Remo Emperor/Powerstroke 3 heads support the deep and balanced basic character of the Gretsch Formula Shells. The typical Gretsch 30° bearing edge delivers optimal vintage sound with modern influences. The Gretsch GTS suspension is connected to the tom at four points, combining stability and free sustain. Modern Gretsch T-Wing screws and a hoop in set color stylishly round off the overall visual appearance.
