On the occasion of Elektron's 25th anniversary, the Swedes present the E25 Remix Edition! The current Digitakt, Digitone and Syntakt grooveboxes are available in a limited edition with a silver stainless steel housing. This is also a reminder of the cult instruments MachineDrum and MonoMachine, which rightly brought Elektron fame over 20 years ago. In 1998, the now legendary Sidstation was the starting signal for the innovative company that never ceases to surprise us. In terms of technology and features, the E25 Remix Edition is identical to the black model. What makes the difference is the elegant look and the exclusive accessories.

Elektron Digitone is a digital 8-voice, multi-timbral synthesizer in desktop format. It combines FM synthesis with a classic subtractive signal path and is therefore ideal for creating unique sounds. Digitone naturally fits into a computer-based music setup.

The perfect complement in sound

With its 8 digitally generated voices, Digitone offers the perfect complement to Electron's previous synthesizers and rounds off the sound palette in a consistent manner. Digitone is ideal as a melody synthesizer, for arpeggios and for playing chords. Digitone has a lot to offer in terms of sound and the sound palette ranges from crystal-clear FM to dirty, distorted sound collages rich in overtones. The FM synthesis, which seems rather complicated due to its numerous parameters, is simplified by a sensible selection and combination. This is followed by a versatile multimode filter to further shape and model the sound. The sound is rounded off by high-quality send effects and Overdrive in the master channel.

Elektron sequencer

Naturally, Digitone is equipped with Elektron's sequencer. Elektron has set a standard in the functionality and usability of the sequencer by which all others must measure themselves. Parameterlocks as automation per step, sound and preset changes per step are just the best-known features.
