The LX-2 offers both an isolated output (ISO OUT) and a direct through output (DIRECT THRU). The isolated output galvanically isolates the signal using the Jensen transformer and thus reliably prevents hum loops and noise. The separate ground lift switch on both outputs provides additional flexibility when eliminating grounding problems.

Another highlight is the trim control, which is integrated as a "set & forget" function. It allows the input signal to be continuously attenuated by up to -10 dB. For example, you can deliberately saturate your microphone preamps to create a warm sound character, while the LX-2 reliably reduces the signal before the recording interface to a safe level.

Robust design for tough use

The housing of the Radial LX-2 is made of robust 14-gauge steel with a durable powder coating. The sophisticated "bookend" design protects sensitive sockets and switches from damage. In addition, non-slip pads on the underside ensure a secure grip on smooth surfaces.

Flexibility in use

Whether in the studio for parallel processing or live on stage for splitting a mix signal - the LX-2 is versatile. As an option, the device can be combined with the J-Rak rackmount system or the J-Clamp for fixed installations. This allows the LX-2 to be conveniently mounted in a 19" rack or under a table.
