The Bigsby B-12 vibrato is a classic vintage vibrato system that was specially designed for use with archtop electric guitars. In order to work perfectly on hollowbody instruments, the rear mounting point of the B-12 is located in the frame area at the height of the strap pin, so that no unnecessary holes need to be drilled in the top of the guitar. The system also has a pressure roller that increases the contact pressure of the strings on the bridge. Compared to the classic B-7, the B-12 is a little shorter and has a slimmer vintage design with a large cutout and smaller Bigsby logo.
