The fretting hand benefits from the smooth feel of the Brown Brankowood fingerboard, which provides exceptional playing comfort. This innovative material is created through a special process that tropicalizes fast growing pine species, supporting environmentally conscious production. Developed by Australian researcher Branko Hermescec, Brown Brankowood combines the sound and feel of high grade classic tonewoods such as ebony and rosewood without any compromise in sound quality.
