The Epiphone Explorer Purple Sparkle is a special edition of the legendary Explorer guitar model, which has been reissued in a special Purple Sparkle finish and shines with a rich sound and excellent playability. The electric guitar also has great features that make the instrument a strong companion for the rehearsal room, Studio or stage and the special Finish finish makes it a real eye-catcher. Under the hood, the body is made of mahogany, which provides a robust base with the glued mahogany neck. The narrow Slim Taper C neck profile allows you to tackle particularly fast riffs cleanly, while the Laurel fingerboard with 22 frets and 12" fingerboard radius ensures comfort when it comes to precise fretting or quick chord changes.
The Epiphone Explorer Purple Sparkle is a first-class rock and metal guitar with aggressive styling and ProBucker pickups.

ProBucker pickups
The Epiphone Explorer Purple Sparkle comes with two ProBucker pickups that deliver a broad sound and are defined by a balanced frequency response: The rich lows, balanced mids and assertive highs are ideal for raw drive sounds or rich distortion, which is why the Explorer is particularly suitable for heavier genres from Classic rock to heavy metal. The pickups can be controlled individually or simultaneously via a 3-way switch, while two separate volume and tone controls are available for fine adjustment.
The Grover mini tuners keep the tuning of the Epiphone Explorer Purple Sparkle stable.
Hardware
The Epiphone Explorer Purple Sparkle comes with an Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and is complemented by a stopbar tailpiece, which makes changing strings quick and provides sufficient stability, even when things get wild in the rehearsal room or on stage. The electric guitar is also equipped with Grover mini tuners, which allow precise tuning and impress with their compact design.
