Get direct access to monitor paths, DCA groups and user-defined processes with the 8 motorized faders. 8 buttons at the bottom of the controller switch between the assignments of the faders and pots. Using the Inserts, EQ, Dynamics and AUX buttons or directly via the touchscreen of a docked tablet, you can quickly switch to the corresponding task areas. Even writing automations is possible. This takes the Avid S1 DAW controller well beyond the functionality of an ordinary MIDI-based controller!

Thanks to a sophisticated and deep DAW integration, the S1 immediately jumps to the corresponding channel strip when selecting a track on the screen and clearly displays loaded plug-ins, EQ curve, gain reduction, panning and more in high resolution.
