1010music Nanobox Razzmatazz at a glance

At 1010music, the name says it all: the practical desktop drum computer Nanobox Razzmatazz is presented in an ultra-compact housing with a focus on FM synthesis and sampling. The small drummer generates eight drum tracks simultaneously and is eight-voice polyphonic playable. Its sounds consist of WAV samples, FM-Synthese or a combination of both and can be extensively customized using filters, envelope, distortion and resonator. For the final polish, the effects delay, reverb, Distortion and bitcrusher are used. Razzmatazz comes from the factory with 120 preset drum kits; the included sounds were created by sound designers from dub, techno, IDM, Classic rock and other genres. The drum machine is by no means limited to what the Factory samples provide: at will, own samples in WAV format with a length of up to 30 seconds can be imported and the audio input allows direct sampling of an external sound source such as eg. synthesizer, GameBoy or smartphone in the device. Thanks to the 2" touchscreen and the two knobs, an intuitive workflow succeeds, so that one is quickly at the desired parameter and can shape sounds. In addition, you use the touchscreen to program the integrated 64-step TR sequencer and drum in the eight sounds with your finger. A full MIDI implementation and common MIDI and audio connections allow for easy integration into any setup.
