The MXR M307 Layers is an exceptional tool for creating lush, organic pad sounds and rich soundscapes. Housed in the classic MXR casing, this effect pedal offers up to three simultaneous sound layers that can be automatically triggered based on velocity, thanks to the selected TRIG control setting. When the TRIG control is disengaged, you can trigger individual layers manually using the footswitch. To further shape your sound, the Attack and Decay controls allow precise adjustments over the layers' dynamics, enabling violin-like swells and sustained reverb-like tails. Additionally, the Sub Octave Switch adds depth by expanding the bass range, while the CTR connection lets you control the effect in real-time with a separately available expression pedal.
