DSP modes

The quad microphone array as well as the integrated DSP make it possible to use different settings for the given recording situation. On board are four presets, each of which generates a different colour of the SSL logo on the device when activated and for your own information.

• White - Solo Mode: This mode is mainly suitable for recording single persons. Optimal for Live streaming, phone calls in the office, cafe or airport etc.
• Green - Group Mode: Perfect for multiple sound sources in close proximity such as video conferencing, interviews, etc.
• Magenta - Vocal Mode: This mode is especially suitable for music creators who want to create vocal recordings.
• Blue - Music Mode: You play in a band or simply want to record several musicians at the same time? The blue mode is the answer

In each of these modes, the processor intervenes internally to activate appropriate EQ and dynamics settings using SmartMixer. This gives you the best possible results with low noise and good localization. In addition, there is an Immersive mode that activates all microphones simultaneously and allows you to mix/process the individual microphones separately and according to your own preferences.
