The ESP LTD M-201HT Black Satin is a serious metal guitar with a straightforward concept and first-class price-performance ratio. Based on the popular Mirage design, the guitar stripped down to the essentials convinces with first-class playing characteristics of the "Thin and neck and the aggressive sound of the LH-150B bridge pickup. In addition, ESP equips the electric guitar with a practical hardtail bridge and precise die-cast tuners.
ESP LTD M-201HT Black Satin is a straight designed metal guitar with fast neck and powerful bridge pickup.
The fast "Thin U" maple neck of the M-201HT is bolted to the mahogany body via a neck plate.
Optimal playing characteristics
The classic design of the LTD M-201HT Black Satin pays special attention to comfortable playing characteristics and a powerful sound. While the mahogany body with generous shaping takes up a playing position with perfect balance both on the strap and on the thigh, the bolt-on maple neck fits perfectly in the hand due to the flat "Thin U" profile, so that riffs and solos come out of the fingers with ease.
The split ESP Designed LH-150B pickup on the bridge promises crisp rock and metal sounds with high output.
Powerful metal sounds
The electrical tone conversion of the LTD M-201HT is handled by an ESP Designed LH-150B humbucker with "Antique Nickel" cover placed at the bridge. The powerful pickup elicits juicy distortion and overdrive sounds from the guitar amp, presenting every note with sharp contour and crisp Attack even in drop tunings. The push/pull switch in the volume control also offers the option of splitting the pickup, so that glassy single-coil sounds enrich the sound palette.
Six LTD die-cast tuners keep the LTD M-201HT securely in the correct tuning.
Indestructible hardware
Last but not least, ESP completes the LTD M-201HT Black Satin with indestructible hardware. The bridge used here is the massive LTD Fixed Guitar Bridge, which supports the crisp sound character with the strings routed through the body. Six tailpieces with generous adjustment travel also guarantee precise setting of intonation and string action. On the reversed headstock, LTD die-cast tuners also guarantee precise tuning with unshakable stability.
