The Doepfer A-174-4 Joystick II three-axis CV controller generates control voltages on three axes and impresses with its versatility. Classically, voltages are generated by up/down and left/right movements on the X and Y axes. In addition, the more than generously dimensioned joystick can be rotated, generating the Z axis. A push button triggers a gate signal as long as it is held. Besides the outputs for the three axes, there are inverted outputs with adjustable offset and four outputs for the quadrants. Since the joystick resets itself to the center position, all values are quickly reset to zero volts.
