Control the Eurorack with audio signals

TipTop Audio has collaborated with Buchla to create a fully Eurorack compatible version of the 230 triple envelope follower. With the 230t it is possible to generate CV and Gate signals at the same time from an incoming audio signal. These signals can be used to switch sequencers, modulate a filter, trigger a Sample and Hold or control the volume of a VCA. The module provides pulses, gates and control voltages on three channels, all derived from the audio that is fed into the inputs. Each channel offers two modes. SUSTAINED produces a pulse only when a specific voltage threshold is exceeded. TRANSIENT allows the detection of attack transients even in the presence of background noise and across a wide range of amplitudes.
