50-K and 10-K Channels

The 50-K channel of the Lehle Dual Expression is suitable for connection to effects units or keyboards that have expression connectors with resistances between 25 kOhm and 100 kOhm. In addition to automatic polarity detection, it is possible to tap the control voltage at the tip (TRS) or the ring (RTS) of the cable used. The RTS mode is also suitable for the use of TS jack cables with mono plugs. In addition to polarity detection and RTS and TRS modes, the 10K channel, designed for devices with 5 kohm to 20 kohm connections, can also operate as a pushbutton or switch to control channel changes or other switching functions.

USB MIDI

For controlling DAW functions or software instruments on PC or Mac, Lehle's Dual Expression Pedal offers a convenient USB MIDI function. The USB port can also be used to power the pedal and update the firmware.

Wear-free Hall-effect sensor

At the heart of the Lehle Dual Expression is a precisely calibrated sensor that makes use of the Hall effect and measures the strength of a magnetic field, so that particularly precise effect control is possible in conjunction with the digitally controlled potentiometers.
