Neutron 3 Standard

iZotope enters the third round with Neutron and offers, with the standard version, a further improved and extended software for mixing applications in every genre. Classic plug-ins such as EQ, compressor, gate, exciter, limiter, but also the new Sculptor, which offers spectral shaping to emphasize certain characteristics of the instrument used or to make it sound completely different. The extremely helpful Masking Meter, which detects and displays frequency overlaps between different instruments, is also included, allowing problematic resonances to be eliminated and mixes to be balanced.

The modular use in the signal chain, as well as mix controls to change the intensity of the respective plug-ins make it very easy to make small changes to the sound and test which tool works best for you at which point. Because you have full control over every parameter at all times, Neutron 3 is a great source of inspiration, help and learning new approaches to mixing.

iZotope Ozone 8 Standard

Ozone 8 Standard from iZotope is a practical and very powerful tool used in mastering. Not only the elegant and intuitive design, but also the improved workflow and the integrated mastering processors make it an all-rounder at a high level. Available are Imager, Maximizer, EQ, Dynamic EQ, Dynamics, Exciter and Vintage Limiter modules, all of which come with enough parameters for every imaginable situation. The new features include performance improvements, e.g. track referencing, which allows you to easily make A/B comparisons with other tracks, or the Master Assistant, which uses its algorithm to analyze incoming signals and provides mastering suggestions for streaming, CD and reference applications.
