With the MAUI 44 G2, LD-Systems presents the latest flagship of the pole speaker systems from the MAUI series. The speaker system offers generous 1,500 Watt total power (RMS) with a frequency response of 37 Hz to 20 kHz and a sound pressure of 132 dB (peak).

With its outstanding sound characteristics and diverse functions, this compact LD-System MAUI 44 G2 PA pole system is recommended for rental companies, musicians, small clubs, street festivals and for permanent installations. The cardioid characteristics of the pole elements as well as the possibility to achieve a cardioid application also in the bass range with an additional subwoofer illustrate the professional claim of the new flagship.

A rear attenuation of 18 dB is achieved with the pole and 15 dB with the subwoofer. The LD-Systems MAUI 44 G2 also sets the tone when it comes to equipping the two-piece pole with twelve 3.5" neodymium full-range speakers and four 1" HF drivers with waveguide. The phase plugs on the six upper drivers improve the horizontal directivity, reduce the distortion and optimize the sensitivity below the crossover frequency for the tweeters.

In addition, the four tweeters feature specially designed and optimized compression drivers coupled to a constant directivity waveguide to provide 120° of coverage across the width and 25° of focused vertical directivity. The curved design of the waveguide transports more energy in the high frequencies to listeners standing further away.

On the input side, the LD-Systems MAUI 44 G2 offers two XLR IN connectors. Two XLR outputs allow wired stereo configuration of two systems. An additional subwoofer can be connected via the SUB OUT, and power is supplied safely and reliably via a Power Twist connector.

The TrueWireless Stereo function of the LD system MAUI 44 G2 makes work much easier for fixed installations or for the sound reinforcement of conferences. This technology enables the wireless connection of two systems for stereo playback.

Bluetooth streaming in HD quality is possible without any problems thanks to aptX and AAC encoding, and the DynX DSP technology guarantees distortion-free sound reproduction even at the highest volumes. Total and subwoofer levels can be individually adjusted, providing perfectly balanced sound in every situation with crystal-clear trebles, crisp mids and, thanks to the flow-optimised bass-reflex channels, particularly powerful bass.

Another particularly user-friendly feature is the automatic setup recognition of the LD-Systems MAUI 44 G2: if, for example, the pole is removed to use the subwoofer as a slave, the display automatically jumps to SLAVE and functions such as Bluetooth and the volume controls for MAIN and SUB are no longer displayed.
