Five Amp Types & Large Effects Section for Flexible Sounds

That the Boss Katana Air EX is up for any kind of fun is proven by its five selectable Amp Types. From clear cleans and smooth crunch to hot leads and the iconic 'Brown' sound, the desktop amp covers an enormous range of typical guitar sounds that can be combined with the effects section counting over 60 classic and modern effects. A separate Acoustic Bass amp type is also available for bassists. All sound creations can be saved to one of the six internal memory slots for later use and precisely edited via the Boss Tone Exchange app.

Boss Wireless Technology

In order to do without annoying cable connections between the instrument and amp, Boss provides the Katana Air EX with an additional WL-T transmitter. This is simply plugged into the Output jack of the electric guitar or the E-Bass instead of a cable and offers up to 12 hours of wireless playing fun with one battery charge. Here, the Boss Katana Air EX was provided with its own WL-T connector, which is used to recharge the transmitter battery. Also the use of wireless accessories such as the Boss FS-1WL Wireless Footswitch or the EV-1-WL Expression Pedal are easily possible.

Ideal for Studio and or Tour

The Boss Katana Air EX is by no means limited to a single area of application and presents itself as an enormously versatile gadget for musicians of all kinds. Especially for studio purposes, the Katana Air EX can be used as a USB audio interface via the rear USB port, and expand your own music projects with guitar tracks in first-class quality.
