With the Marshall SV20C Studio Vintage Combo Targe Red Levant, the company from Milton Keynes presents a strictly limited special edition of the popular combo amp from the Studio Series to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the company. Wrapped in red tolex and featuring a beautiful Target graphic on the front cover, the practical all-tube combo delivers the official sound of the legendary 1959 Super Lead top with which Jim Marshall secured his place in rock history. In addition to the 10" Celestion V-Type speaker and the classically designed preamp with two channels and tone stack, contemporary features such as a power switching for the output stage and a switchable FX loop make the SV20C Studio Vintage Combo Target Red Levant the perfect companion for studio, stage or living room.

Classic 1959 Super Lead Sound

The heart of the SC20C Studio Vintage Combo, which is built using traditional tube technology, is undoubtedly the preamp, whose sound is unmistakably based on the 1959 Super Lead head of the sixties, which has gone down in rock history. The normal and high treble channels, each equipped with high and low sensitivity inputs, not only allow different timbres to be called up, but can naturally be connected via patch cable to enjoy the incredibly dynamic Vintage Marshall sound. In addition to the classic tone stack with controls for bass, middle and treble, the Studio Vintage combo offers an additional presence control for the treble response of the power amp.

The Marshall SV20C Studio Vintage Combo Target Red Levant offers normal and high treble channels with different sensitive inputs and a classic tone stack to retrieve high-caliber vintage sounds.

Power amplifier with switchable volume, Celestion Speaker.

The SV20C Studio Vintage combo's dual EL34 tube power amp delivers up to 20 watts of power, allowing you to get the Super Lead's coveted power amp saturation without shaking the walls. To further reduce volume, you also have the option of limiting the power amp's output to 5 watts. In the closed combo cabinet, a 10" Celestion VT-Junior speaker also promises a highly responsive Vintage-Sound with rich punch in the mids and strong but never harsh brilliance in the highs.

Modern connections

As a tribute to the demands of modern guitarists, Marshall equips the SV20C Studio Vintage Combo Target Red with practical features for contemporary applications in Studio or on stage. The serial FX loop allows easy integration of guitar effects into the signal path, but can be completely deactivated if desired to achieve a more direct sound image. In addition, DI-Out with authentic speaker simulation is available for direct signal pickup.
