Precise signal transmission with word clock

The Ferrofish Pulse8 AE is a compact and versatile AD/DA converter designed for use in professional studio and live environments. It has eight balanced analog inputs and outputs in TRS format (6.35 mm jack), which ensure precise signal processing and loss-free transmission. Thanks to the two ADAT inputs and outputs, digital audio signals can be integrated in a versatile manner. With the support of SMUX technology, higher sampling rates of up to 96 kHz are possible with eight channels. Word clock inputs and outputs are available for precise synchronization and can be used with both internal and external clock sources.

The device offers a high-resolution display for level monitoring, which provides clear visual feedback for inputs and outputs. This is complemented by multicolor LED meters that enable intuitive control. Operation is via a knob and additional buttons on the front panel, making navigation quick and easy. For remote control, the USB-C port can be used with the RemoteFish software. MIDI inputs and outputs are available with a 3.5 mm jack connection.

A separate 6.35 mm headphone output with adjustable gain and an ESS DAC offers high sound quality for monitoring. In addition, the device can be expanded with an optional DSP stick to add further functions. The compact design makes it ideal for use in a rack or on a desktop.
