The Rode VideoMic Pro+ is a dedicated on-camera shotgun microphone presented in a compact format for use with camcorders, DSLR cameras and portable audio recorders. The Rycote Lyre Suspension Mount isolates the body of the microphone from the camera, thereby reducing vibrations and noise caused by movement and other factors. The VideoMic Pro+ can be powered by its rechargeable LB-1 Lithium-Ion battery, 2x AA batteries or micro USB.
