Why is a polar pattern microphone ideal for outdoor recording?

As mentioned above, a shotgun microphone or a microphone with a clear polar pattern is particularly advantageous for outdoor recordings or recordings in noisy environments, as it picks up sound from a specific direction and largely blocks out disturbing ambient noise. This focusing ensures that wind noise, traffic noise, voices or other interference from the side or rear are minimized, while the desired sound - such as speech or specific sound sources - is captured clearly and distinctly.

At the same time, HELIX™ is extremely compact, keeping your setup sleek and slim without compromising on acoustic performance. The mount also features convenient cable routing slots and a mounting option for the camera, as well as a thread that allows for mounting to a boompole or other accessories.
