With the new edition of the Les Paul Supreme, the traditional guitar maker Gibson offers a high-quality developed, modern version of the popular singlecut model, which can convince with look and sound. Traditional tonewoods meet chic details, while proven ProBucker are provided with a coil tap, as well as phase and true bypass. Rounding out the Les Paul Supreme is a beautiful finish, gold Hardware and a classic Gibson case.
Classic construction
In typical Les Paul fashion, the electric guitar is composed of a glued mahogany neck and body, which is adorned with a top made of AAA-quality curly maple. However, the body of the Les Paul Supreme is characterized by its ultra-modern weight relief, which promises special wearing and playing comfort. The fretboard is made of a beautiful piece of ebony, which offers a strong visual feature with Super Split Block Perloid inlays and promises modern conditions thanks to the rising compound radius.
The Gibson Les Paul Supreme Fireburst combines the traditional construction of the classic singlecut electric guitar with modern elements.
Burstbucker Pro pickups provide a powerful sound with strong articulation and classic Les Paul vintage warmth.
Burstbucker Pro pickups
A duo of a Bursbucker Pro pickup on the neck, and a Burstbucker Pro+ humbucker in the bridge position provide the sound transformation of the Les Paul Supreme. This authentic rock sound is combined with two controls each for Volume and Tone, which require further sonic flexibility through push/pull pots, with a coil tap function, phase and pure bypass switching.
Grover locking tuners with keystone wings on the signature "open book" headstock provide stable tunings and rapid string changes.
Gibson Hardware
The Les Paul Supreme also features a proven Gibson Tune-o-Matic system. Thus, the model series is equipped with a Nashville Tune-o-Matic bridge and an aluminium stop bar. At the headstock, Grover clamp tuners hold all six strings in a stable intonation. The scope of delivery of the Les Paul Supreme is completed by a classic Gibson guitar case.
