Mahogany body with ultra-modern weight relief
Without fundamentally changing the classic Les Paul shape, the mahogany body now offers some welcome upgrades. The Ultra-Modern Weight Relief, featuring strategically placed recesses in the body, reduces overall weight while enhancing resonance. Meanwhile the flamed maple top beautifully complements the traditional design. Unrestricted playability for the fretting hand is ensured by the ergonomically shaped neck heel and the Asymmetrical Slim Taper profile of the mahogany neck.
Epiphone ProBucker pickups 'with versatile switching options
The Epiphone Les Paul Modern Figured Purple Burst goes beyond classic Les Paul tones thanks to its extended circuitry, which unlocks a wide range of sonic possibilities. Equipped with two Epiphone ProBucker pickups - the ProBucker-2 in the neck and Epiphone ProBucker-3 in the bridge positions can be individually switched to coil split mode via the push/pull function on the volume controls. Additionally, one of the two tone controls offers a phase inversion switch, further expanding your tonal palette.
LockTone parts and Grover tuners
Always praised for its superior resonance transmission and enhanced functionality, the Epiphone Les Paul Modern Figured Purple Burst is equipped with a LockTone Tune-o-Matic bridge and a matching stopbar tailpiece. Unlike conventional designs, the classic bridge setup is locked to the bridge studs, creating a solid connection between string vibrations and the guitar body for improved sustain and tone. For fast string changes and excellent tuning stability, the guitar also features six Grover Rotomatic locking tuners with a highly practical clamping mechanism.
