The Hagstrom Swede is a true classic among electric guitars and has been seen in many famous hands on the world's great stages over the past decades. The Hagstrom Super Swede from the new Generation combines the classic look and distinctive Vintage-Sound of the singlecut model with its extended 25.5" scale length, promoting extremely tight and attack-rich sounds. In combination with the coil split function, it also delivers characterful single coil sounds. Otherwise, the Hagstrom Super Swede is composed of the finest Hardware in the form of a Tune-o-Matic bridge with Stopbar Tailpiece and 19:1 locking tuners with visually appealing stepped vanes.
The grain of the curved curly maple top shines through the transparent Dark Storm finish.
The ergonomic neck and body connection offers fast conditions in combination with the body cutaway.
High quality workmanship with modern solutions
Both neck and body of the Hagstrom Super Swede are made of resonant mahogany and offer particularly comfortable conditions due to the "Nape-Tenon" connection. Thus, even the high frets of the 22-fret Resinator fingerboard can be reached without any problems. Furthermore, the neck is equipped with the patented Hagstrom H-Expander neck rod, which makes an exact neck adjustment possible and requires optimal Attack .
Hagstrom Locking Tuners with 19:1 ratio visually complement the typical Hagstrom headstock and provide tonal stability.
Lundgren Design Pickups and Features
The humbuckers in neck and bridge position of the Hagstrom Super Swede Dark Storm were designed by Swedish pickup pioneer Jonah Lundgren, which is why the dual coils can convince with both a warm tonal variety and single-coil sounds via the Coil-Split function of the individual Push/Pull Tone controls. Furthermore, the Super Swede is equipped with a combination of Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stoptail, which provides a particularly stable Sustain .
