With the ESP LTD EC-1000FR See Thru Black, the Japanese guitar company presents an electric guitar in the popular Eclipse singlecut style, which turns out to be a hot shredding guitar with powerful EMG pickups and a Floyd Rose tremolo.
For the LTD EC-1000FR, ESP relies on a set-thru design with a mahogany body and three-piece mahogany neck that guarantees unobstructed access to the higher registers thanks to the flowing neck heel and wide cutaway. With its slim Thin-U profile and virtually wear-free stainless steel fretboard, the guitar also offers agile playing characteristics for fast solos and tight riffing.
For an adequate shredding sound, the ESP LTD EC-1000FR electric guitar is equipped with two active EMG humbuckers, which really put the amp under steam. While the EMG 57 placed at the bridge combines the power of an active pickup with the lively dynamics of a passive pickup and thus precisely brings out every playing detail, the EMG 66TW in neck position delivers moderate tones with high transparency for singing leads and sparkling clean sounds. There is also the option to split the neck pickup for bell-like single-coil sounds. Last but not least, ESP's LTD EC-1000FR See Thru Black features a Floyd Rose 1000SE double-locking tremolo with stainless steel screws that invites unrestrained lead acrobatics with the whammy bar thanks to its unwavering tuning stability.
