The Japanese-made ESP E-II Horizon FR7 Black is an expressive music machine with a high-quality hardware setup and active EMG pickups, wrapped in a sleek modern finish. The focus of this slim shredder guitar is especially on fast playing characteristics and ideal conditions for modern metal, rock and everything that feels comfortable in between. A solid through neck of 3-strip maple gives over 7 strings a 24-fret ebony fingerboard enough room for hot riffing and optimal drop tunings, while an original Floyd Rose tremolo allows dive bombs and squeals without detuning.
The neck-through construction of the ESP E-II Horizon FR7 makes it easy to reach all seven strings, even in the highest positions of the 24 extra-jumbo frets. The 3-strip maple neck offers the best conditions for fast-paced playing techniques thanks to the Thin-U neck profile and flat 12-inch fingerboard radius. Of course, the Japanese-made electric guitar is also equipped with top-class Hardware and thus a Floyd Rose tremolo with Locking nut, Gotoh Locking tuners and strap-lock strap pins shine in a beautiful black finish.
Alnico V loaded EMG 707 pickups in neck and bridge positions deliver impeccably tight sound with a clear articulation. Specifically geared for 7-string electric guitars, the active 707 pickups are balanced for the low B string, with no loss in the higher registers. At the amplifier, the ESP E-II Horizon FR7 thus delivers a full, pronounced sound, which can convince both in Clean and Overdrive . Furthermore, both pickups can be optimally adjusted via a 3-way circuit and a Volume and Tone control.
