      Oscillator from Xaoc Devices

Berlin from XAOC Devices is a high-speed oscillator with an impressive frequency range of 20 octaves, LFO mode and two waveforms. At first glance, Berlin is a compact oscillator with square and sawtooth waveforms, hard sync, FM input, octave switching and a generously dimensioned fine control with +/- one-octave control range. The highlight of this oscillator is its ability to connect to the Leibniz subsystem. The subsystem, which is also offered by XAOC Devices , includes the Drezno II, Erfurt, Gera, Jena, Lipsk, Poczdam and Rostock modules. They give you access to the 8-bit world in the Eurorack context. Use the LBZ Link button and the corresponding gate input to switch between the sawtooth waveform and the result of the connected Leibniz module. Add Jena to Berlin eg. and you get a vintage-style experimental wavetable oscillator! Berlin works with a variable sample rate based on an extremely broadband internal clock. Since the sample rate changes with the oscillator frequency, Berlin's internal square and saw waves have no aliasing effect. The entire frequency range extends from 30 seconds in LFO mode up to 250 kHz, with the Clock reaching an impressive 20 MHz. On top of that, all parameters are voltage-controllable. Berlin is an extremely versatile oscillator that can generate a considerable range of unusual waveforms, especially in combination with the Leibniz subsystem.
