Complex wavetable sounds with polyphonic structures

The MultiWAVE from Make Noise is an 8-channel dual wavetable oscillator for the New Universal Synthesizer System or any other Eurorack system. With just one set of controls, you can adjust not only the two oscillators but also their offset and excursion on the eight outputs. MultiWAVE is primarily a wavetable oscillator with 8 banks of 8 waveforms each and 64 waves per wavetable. Frequency, modulation and wavetable position are the main parameters of both oscillators. Oscillators A and B can be tracked independently of each other, for which there are 4 follow modes. The module generates the polyphonic structures using modulation dissemination, span modes, spread and accumulation. In simple terms, these are used to set the offset and deflection for the eight outputs. The results sound polyphonic in most settings, although they are played monophonically via a single control voltage. This results in a variable timbre for each output. The integrated, polyphonic quantizer ensures musically meaningful results. Even the glide parameter is polyphonic and varies with the note intervals of the outputs. At the rear, MultiWAVE can be connected to two MN QXG modules and have ready-made connections for polyphonic patches.
