Big technology in a small package

The SSL VHD+ is a high quality pre-amp module. It brings the patented VHD technology from the SSL flagship "Duality" to the API-500 format. The "+" version of the VHD module offers inputs on both the front and rear panel. With a total of four different impedance settings, the versatile preamp can also be used as a DI box for a variety of instruments.

Clean or saturation?

On the one hand, the preamp delivers a very clean and tidy preamplification with up to +75dB gain. Alternatively, however, SSL's patented VHD system can be switched in, adding 2nd and 3rd degree harmonic overdrive. Here everything is possible, from warm tube sound to trashy grunge sounds.
