Gretsch Custom Drums with Solid Black Finish

The Gretsch USA Custom shell set in Gold Glass is a four piece handmade custom drum set with Formula Shells and cast hoops.

Composition and material

The USA Custom drum set from Gretsch consists of a 22"x18" Bass drum, a 12"x8" tom and two floor toms in 14"x14" and 16"x16". The shells are finished with a high-gloss finish of the highest class, which gives the look an impressive depth and brilliance. Gretsch Formula Shells consist of 6 plies, they are hybrids of Maple/Gum. On the inside the typical Gretsch Silver sealing is applied, this seals the wood and extends the durability.

A big contribution to the Gretsch sound is the bearing edge, which is rounded 30°. Tom and floor tom have massive die-cast hoops, which keep the tuning of the Remo heads clean and clear and promise focused sound.
