Marian Clara D+ offers a robust digital audio environment with 16 AES/EBU channels and high-resolution 24-bit/192 kHz support. The internal clock operates with an extremely low jitter of less than one nanosecond and ensures precise signal processing. It is often more accurate than the internal clocks of connected devices, so that a separate clock generator is often superfluous.
In addition to a word clock and superclock input, the Clara D+ has an additional word clock and superclock output. Two MIDI inputs and outputs allow the integration of external MIDI devices. All expansions are provided via a supplied expansion card, which is connected to the sound card via a ribbon cable and can be placed versatile in the computer housing.
The integrated DSP mixer enables latency-free routing and mixing of up to 64 input signals, which can be mixed to 8 sums and sent to any output. DAW playback signals can be seamlessly integrated and all mix sums can be sent back to software for recording. Four parametric EQs per channel allow for targeted sound processing.
The software-switchable sample rate converters (SRC) allow digital input signals to be processed independently of their original sample rate and clock setting. This allows digital devices to be connected without separate synchronisation lines.
Using the TDM SyncBus, several Clara D+ systems can be combined in one computer and presented as a single sound system to an ASIO application. Up to 32 audio signals can be exchanged within the Beast Mixer with other Clara systems and can be integrated into the workflow.
The Clara D+ is compatible with common Thunderbolt PCIe adapters and offers driver support for Windows. Lifetime quality support ensures that the system can be used reliably over the long term.
