With the fully solid Profesor Spruce, the Spanish manufacturer Juan Hernandez enriches its generous selection of finest concert guitars. Due to its lightweight construction consisting of a spruce top and a rosewood body, the instrument develops a very expressive response that unfolds the brightly coloured tone quickly and perfectly in the bass and treble frequencies. The high-quality guitar owes its easy playability in all 18 frets to a flat mahogany neck, which is fitted with a premium ebony fingerboard and, thanks to a nut width of 51 mm, has sufficient space so that even extensive fingering patterns can be accomplished without much effort. A carefully crafted bridge inlay and a finely notched nut also ensure clean intonation over the entire scale length of 650 mm. The characteristic headstock is equipped with gold tuners, which not only enable comfortable and precise tuning but also discreetly emphasise the instrument's value. The Hernandez Profesor Spruce is rounded off with a wafer-thin high-gloss finish that highlights the fine grain of the woods used in a very aesthetic way.
