The Dingwall D-Roc Standard 4 3PU PF Matte Vintageburst combines a sleek modern retro design with the popular multiscale construction to create the perfect electric bass for the modern styles of rock and metal. Whereas the mahogany body and bolt-on maple neck promise a warm sound, the increasing scale lengths from 34" to 36.25" guarantee a tight output of every note even in dropped tunings. Managed using a 4-way rotary switch and the traditional passive circuit with volume and tone controls, three Dingwall FD-3N neodymium pickups deliver multi-faceted tones with great punch. Lightweight Hipshot bass tuners and four Dingwall single bridges complete the features of the Dingwall D-Roc Standard 4 3PU PF Matte Vintageburst.

The mahogany body and the "Medium Thin C" maple neck of the Dingwall D-Roc Standard are connected by four screws.
Multiscale construction
The heart of the Dingwall D-Roc's elegant modern retro design is undoubtedly its multiscale construction, which allows each note to vibrate with an optimised scale length between 34" for the G and 36.25" for the E. Accordingly, the four-string D-Roc also convinces during drop tunings with a defined and powerful display of every note played. In addition to the boldly styled mahogany body with its raised middle section, this four-string also features a bolt-on maple neck, whose slim "Medium Thin C" profile promises optimum playability on the 20-fret Pau Ferro fretboard.
With three Dingwall FD-3N neodymium pickups and a 4-way passive circuit with volume control and treble control, the D-Roc delivers versatile bass sounds.
Dingwall FD-3N pickups and passive electronics
The Dingwall D-Roc Standard 4 3PU PF Matte Vintageburst uses three passive Dingwall FD-3N pickups with powerful neodymium magnets, combining smooth sound with the right amount of bite and assertiveness. The 4-way rotary switch calls up the pickups in various combinations, so that this four-string bass can produce both traditional vintage sounds and modern tones. In addition to the volume control, the classic passive circuitry of the Dingwall D-Roc provides a treble control to adjust the frequencies of the bass sound.
On the compact headstock of the Dingwall D-Roc Standard, four lightweight Hipshot bass tuners ensure precise and stable tuning.
High quality hardware
Last but not least, high-quality hardware equipment perfectly tailored to this bass completes the Dingwall D-Roc Standard 4 3PU PF Matte Vintage Burst. The compact headstock allows the strings to run straight to the Hipshot Ultralite bass tuners, which not only guarantee a stable and precise tuning, but also counteract top-heaviness.
