Multiscale construction for tight sounds

The construction of the NG3 Nolly Getgood Signature Bass follows the popular multiscale design with optimally matched scale lengths for each string. This ranges from 33.25" (845 mm) for the high C to 37" (940 mm) for the low B, so that every note is reproduced with absolute precision and even Sustain . While the alder body of the bass guitar impresses with its perfect balance both on the strap and on the thigh, the bolt-on maple neck offers optimum playing characteristics for virtuoso grooves between the 24 fanned frets of the maple fingerboard thanks to the agile "Medium Thin C" profile.

Neodymium pickups and Darkglass electronics

The NG3 Nolly Signature 6-String Bass is electrically powered by three Dingwall FD-3N pickups, which produce an aggressive yet smooth tone thanks to the powerful neodymium magnets. The rotary switch calls up the pickups individually as well as in serial or parallel combination, so that the six-string has four basic sounds with a strong character. For precise adjustment of the sound, the Multiscale Bass is equipped with the Darkglass Tone Capsule electronics, an active 3-band tone control with controls for bass, high and low mids. If desired, the six-string can also be set to passive mode.
