The Fender Malibu Classic Target Burst 's compact Malibu build and solid tonewoods make it a great choice for fine Pickings solos or fingerstyle playing. In addition, the limited edition acoustic guitar is equipped with a flat neck that offers the player optimal playability, making complex fingering patterns a breeze. To ensure clean intonation, the bridge and nut are made of high-quality bone. At the same time, the sealed nickel tuners allow precise tuning of the 6 steel strings. Besides fine inlays made of maple, the guitar is finished with a high gloss varnish in Target Burst. A sturdy case is included in delivery.

Construction and woods

The top is made of Sitka spr uce, so that all frequencies are developed powerfully and defined. The mahogany back and sides enrich the sound with warm bass and midrange frequencies. The top is equipped with a flat scalloped X-bracing to produce every note in a fast response. The mahogany neck with Pau Ferro fingerboard is very easy to finger in all 20 frets thanks to its slim 'C' profile and offers plenty of room to master even complex fingering patterns.

Hardware and Design

The compensated bridge inlay and the 43 mm wide bone nut are precisely matched, so that all strings sound clean on the short scale length of 612 mm. The characteristic Fender Jazzmaster headstock is fitted with nickel tuners in a row, which are very user-friendly to operate. To clearly separate the individual components of the body, the top and back are bordered with light maple bindings. These are tastefully matched to the maple soundhole rosette and the maple dot inlays in the fretboard. The appearance is rounded off by a Target Burst finish.
