Modern C Maple Neck

For best playability ensures the slim Modern C maple neck of the Player Plus Strat HSS with its smooth Silky Satin finish. It strikes the right balance between finger clearance for precise playing and that unmistakable Fender feel thanks to its classic C-shaping. In addition, the fretboard of the Player Plus Strat has a slightly flatter 12" radius to emphasize fluid bends for expressive lead playing.

Player Plus HSS Pickups

The pickup setup of the Player Plus Stratocaster HSS is composed of a powerful Player Plus humbucker at the bridge and two additional Player Plus Noiseless single coils in the middle and neck. The pickups, created specifically for the series, use innovative Noiseless technology to deliver premium sounds without noise and convey traditional Strat tones. Using the push/pull function of the second tone control, coil Split sounds are also available at the bridge at any time.

Deluxe Cast/Sealed Locking Tuners & 2-Point Tremolo

The hardware on this model stays true to the classic Strat setup but presents some useful upgrades that increase the instrument's playability and functionality immensely. The vintage-style 6-saddle 2-point tremolo features a modern 2-point suspension and six resonant and fully adjustable block tailpieces, while the Deluxe Cast/Sealed Locking tuners with convenient clamp feature far fewer axle windings, giving the strings vastly improved tuning stability.
