BD808 brings the unadulterated sound of the world-famous TR-808 to your rack! Thanks to modern production methods, the module also comes with a few extras without compromising the unmistakable sound of the 80s. It sounds just like it could have come off the original production line back then. In the early days of the TR-808, producers often ran drum sound through outboard gear to boost levels and add overdrive, enhancing the signal with added harmonics and grit. The BD808 takes that idea a step further: its built-in high power gain circuitry with a working level of up to 20Vpp, delivers that same energy right out of the box.
