The Impact slider will determine the degree of additional 'power' the vocal recording should receive. Here not only the overall signal is increased, but also volume fluctuations are adjusted. The Ceiling control attenuates the signal after the rest of the processing. Although the Punch Evo plug-in already protects it from clipping and distortion, a small amount of damping can be added here to leave room for post-processing when signal boosting occurs again.
