Thanks to the innovative StageConnect technology, the 4816-I enables the transmission of up to 32 audio channels with a latency in the sub-millisecond range. It delivers 24-bit uncompressed PCM audio with sampling rates of 44.1 or 48 kHz and works with standard XLR microphone or DMX cables. The breakout box can also be expanded: by cascading two units, a total of 32 analog low-latency line inputs can be provided for the StageConnect bus.

The Midas 4816-I impresses with its flexible connection options, as it can be used with any balanced microphone cable. Furthermore, it supports bidirectional audio transmissions including control data and provides a remote power supply of 12 VDC / 18 W to make setup as easy as possible.
