Golden Age Project PRE-73 Premier Overview

The Golden Age Project PRE-73 Premier is a vintage-style 1-channel microphone, line and instrument preamplifier. The signal path here uses only discrete components and thus conforms to a classic circuit design. Input and output are also equipped with transformers in a very classic way.

The circuitry used in the PRE-73 Premier resembles the preamp and equalizer section in the classic 1073 module with a corresponding sonic character that is warm, punchy, sweet and musical. These classic characteristics can be heard on countless records, which is why they are so popular, as they work in pretty much any genre. And that very essence of sound is now surprisingly affordable and available to almost anyone.
