RCF presents three new loudspeaker models from the NX Series portable audio system category with unique electroacoustic characteristics. RCF engineers have brought together specially designed transducers, a new waveguide with constant directivity, FiRPHASE processing and the new Bass Motion Control technology. Housed in rugged wooden enclosures, the NX 9 speakers are tour-ready and offer remarkable audio performance and versatility for any professional audio application.

RCF NX 910-A

The RCF NX 910-A active speaker offers a combination of a 1.75" compression driver, a 10" woofer, a 2-channel 2100 W power amplifier and a Constant Directivity Waveguide ensures a consistent 100° x 60° coverage of the listening area with up to 130 dB SPL distortion-free sound. Whether used as a stand-alone FOH system, satellite (with subwoofer), stage monitor or flown: The compact NX 910-A is powerful and reliable.

First-class transducers

The lightweight RCF drivers deliver impressive performance. To ensure maximum reliability and optimum interaction of all components, all transducers have been specially designed by RCF engineers in Italy. The novel design makes the 1.75" voice coil with polyimide capton dome ten times more stable than its predecessors, ensuring more accurate output and improved longevity.

Bass Motion Control

These components work in unison with two RCF-exclusive DSP algorithms. One for phase linearization and crossover design, the other for woofer excursion management. FiRPHASE, an FIR technology, enables coherent distribution of sound without phase distortion and ensures minimal latency in the system. Bass Motion Control for controlling the woofer excursion knows the full image of the transducer's dynamic behaviour to limit over-excursion. This allows a completely free signal reproduction and avoids high-pass filters as well as broadband limiters and compressors. As a result, the speaker is able to reproduce the input signal at all volumes across the entire audible spectrum, preserving all the nuances of the music with deep, detailed bass response.

Rugged and easy to transport

The sleek cabinet is made of high-strength wood and finished in black polyurea. With ergonomic handles on both sides, the speaker is easy to move and transport. There is a tripod mount on the bottom. Each model can also be flown, wall or truss mounted using multiple M10 rigging points and special accessories.
